Flat screen broke!!

June 15, 2008
Sorry for the delay, but my flat screen monitor went down. It was under warranty, but it took four tries to replace it. That meant that I had to wait to post my journal. We had an 11 year old catch his first walleye but, it was 22 inches long and had to be put back. I did get a photo and it will post it on our web site. A new customer from Niagara Falls caught and released a 12 pound pike. Many of our customers are reporting that many of the walleyes are in the slot size and were released. As of this date we have two walleyes over the slot size and weighted over four pounds. The weather has been to say the least WET. The water level has risen about two inches do to the heavy rain. We had a black out last week do to a thunder storm. The outage lasted about seven hours. Some great news we have dragon flies and that means no more black flies. The walleye fishing had started about two weeks ago and seems to be what we expect in the past. The walleye fishing should be in the 8 to 9 foot range until mid August and perhaps on into September. Oh ya, we do still the Canadian national bird the mosquito!!!
